Brian Livingston
For the love of the dogs
If you ask Brian why he is a professional all-breed handler, he will simply state, “I love dogs.” “I have the best job; they pay me to play with dogs.”
If you ask his long time client and friend she’ll say, “He takes excellent care of his dogs and they love him.” “That’s what makes Brian Livingston a consistent top winning handler.”
Brian has been surrounded by dogs since birth. Growing up in a family of handlers set the stage for his success. For over thirty years, Brian has developed his skills in and out of the ring with dogs from all 7 groups. He is the consummate professional.
Brian’s handling philosophy
His philosophy is simple — let them be dogs.
Brian encourages each dog, regardless of breed, to be unique and brings out their best performance with a light hand and encouraging words. “I want every dog to be happy and confident; the performance results will follow.”
The secret of his success
Brian believes success is a combination of motivational training, consistent top notch conditioning, precise show grooming, a professional presentation, and, most important, play. Brian not only loves dogs and produces top talent; he possesses the rare quality of all great handlers — a gentle hand. It is his gentle hand combined with the love for each dog which results in a flawless presentation.
